Andhra Pradesh Municipal Administration and Minister of City Development P. Narayan claimed on Wednesday that “Amaravati is one of the safest and fastest growing capitals” and rejected “harmful propaganda” against the development of the city.
Narayana dealt with the media after viewing ongoing projects of housing in Nelapad and stated that certain interests have intentionally spread false claims that the development in Amaravati existed only in graphics.
“People will not forgive those who persist in misleading campaigns. Let them come here and see reality on Earth,” the minister said.
Mr. Narayana checked the construction of housing blocks for officers with gazet (Type-1 and Type 2), as well as for group employees.
“Four towers with 384 apartments of 1,800 square feet are built under type 1 housing. Four more towers with 336 apartments 1,500 square feet. Each of them is close to type 2. In addition to six towers. He said that 50% of houses will be ready until October.
The Minister also reviewed the progress of the main wastewater treatment plant, which was developed next to housing. He said that officials and employees would only be assigned to residence after all work was completed.
Narayana emphasized the Amaravati infrastructure and said that 360 km of trunk roads, 1,500 km of layout roads, 4,000 residential buildings and several iconic structures. “Amaravati is a safe city according to the proposal. Measures for floods are carried out with the management of Dutch experts through Canal and Reservoir systems,” he said.
“Unlike unfounded propaganda, Amaravati moves forward with planned development. In three years, capital will be fully implemented,” Narayana said.
