The day after giving up his four -day fast against the Union’s government, which is not Disbursal Samagr Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) funds Tamil Nadu, Congress MEP for Tirvallur Sasikanth Senthil denied that he resorted to protest when he resorted to Tamil’s progress.
“I reject the post, even though it is offered. I keep more responsibility at the national level and my first priority is to defeat the BJP at national level. Right now TNCC is led by K. Selvaterunthagai and extend my full support and I have full confidence in it,” he said.
Mr. Sasikanth Senthil also refused to criticize that his hungry strike had taken attention from the leader of Rahula Gandhi’s “Chori vote”. “The political party like Congress cannot have only one problem,” he said.
The deputy said he decided to end the protest because he managed to emphasize the question that he would not intervene by SSA funds, Tamil Nadu and several other states. “School fees have not been paid for two years. It was urgently necessary to solve this problem. Now we have to focus attention on this question, which can only be done through organizational support. Many leaders also worried about my health. I did not end up under the pressure of any leader,” he said.
However, some of the leaders of the congress he spoke to with whom Hind said that the protest was unnecessary when the state government has already opened this problem at the Supreme Court.

The leader said, “I don’t think he got permission from the management of the State for (Hungry) Protest. Management.”
However, another leader said that Mr. Sasikanth had a clear future in the Tamil politics and those who criticized him were motivated by internal party policies.
