
Days after Royal Challengers Bengalur introduced a six -point manifesto for meaningful actions after the Bengalur Stamuru During their celebrations of the IPL 2025 victory, Virat Kohli thought about the tragedy and admitted that he did not allow him for heart break from 4th June.
RCB violated their silence on the social media two months after the incident, which claimed the lives of 11 people and left more than 40 injured. What was planned as a nationwide celebration of the first iPL franchise triumph became tragic when Stadium broke out near the M Chinnaswamy stadium. Thousands of fans poured into the streets to welcome the RCB after their historical victory, but poor management of events led to a devastating loss of life.
“Nothing in your life really will prepare you for a heartfelt like 4 June. What should be the happiest moment in the history of our franchise has changed into something tragic,” Virt Kohli said in a statement by a franchise.
“I thought and prayed for the families of those we lost and for the injured fans who were injured. Your loss is now part of our story. Together we will proceed forward, respect and responsibility.”
