Meesho, the city e-tailer, said on Monday that during this festive season he would offer seasonal job opportunities 12 lakh people.
These positions would include the Seller and Logistics Network of Meesho and more than 70% of these locations would be in the level 3 and level 4. This year’s hiring was a 40% increase in seasonal jobs compared to last year, the company said.
In the break -up of this mass hiring Mees, his retailers had hired 5.5 lakh seasonal workers this year as part of their festive season requirements, while the logistics partnership helped create 6.7 Lakh seasonal job opportunities, 90% growth compared to last year’s just rental requirement, he said.
SouraBh Pandey, CXO, fulfillment and experience, Mees said: “The festive season is when many Indian households place confidence in electronic trade. In anticipation of this peak, we created approximately 12 lake seasonal opportunities, and a significant share appeared from Indian cities for level 3.”
