On Monday, Bharatiya Janata (BJP) demanded that the Congress Government to pass all evidence concerning the Kaleshwaam irrigation project and fully cooperate with the Central Investigation Office (CBI) to ensure that those responsible for looting the wealth of Telangana are brought to court.
Rajya Sabha MP and the National President of the Morcha Obc K. Laxman said that Minister A. Revanth Reddy, now in a “helpless” position, finally acknowledged that CBI was the only agency capable of revealing the truth because he could not gain a single rupee from alleged fraud. He argued that the creation of the PC Ghosh Commission was only a delayed tactic aimed at diluting evidence of corruption in a project whose original cost of 38,000 GBP Crore was escalated to 1 lakh crore under the Rouškou reworking.
Mr. Laxman suggested that the delay in passing the CBI case may be caused by a “secret agreement” between the Congress and the BRS parties. He noted that Mr. Revant Reddy himself called on the CBI probe before he came to power, and took 22 months to behave.
Previously, Mr. Laxman and State President BJP N. Ramchander Rao, the former President of the State Commission BC Vakulabharanam Krishnamhan welcomed the party in the state office. Mr. Rao said that the input signals of Krishnamhane growing BJP support between municipal communities and MBCs who believe that the party has committed themselves to protect their rights.
Mr. Laxman further accused the Congress of the History of Deception of BCS and questioned the delay in the change of the law of Panchayat Raj to provide 42% of the reservations for the BCS. He criticized the government for lacking clarity to overcome legal obstacles, and warned that the inability to make a reservation would cause a strong will from the BC communities.
