In a new development in the alleged case of a mass burial ground in Dharmaster, a special investigation team (SIT) brought to Bengalur “Mask-Man” Chinnaiah to check the three places he visited at the beginning of this year when planning his movements.
One of the control points is the residence of T Jayanth, a close assistant of an activist based in Dakshina Kannada Mahesh Shetty Thimmarodi. Investigators believe that Chinnaiah bought a skull from there. Chinnaiah claimed he stayed there in April. Thimmarodi is currently also questioned SIT.
The house is located in Mallasandra in the northwest Bengaluru. Jayanth’s wife, son and daughter now stay in the house.
“It is a house where Chinnaiah first brought a skull he later placed before sitting. Chinnaiah and Jayanth have traveled to Delhi with the intention of submitting the case before the Supreme Court,” said The Times of India.
When Jayanth talked to reporters outside the SIT office in Belthangada, he said, saying that Chinnaiah had met him and carried a skull.
“Chinnaiah Arrived at the satellite bus stand (Mysore Road) From I Picked Him Up and Brought Him to the House. He Told Me That He Had the Skull in A Packed Bag and It Need to Be Presented for Investigation in the Mass Burial Case. Taking the Bag, We Went Out Place, and Clicked Pictures of the Skull.
After Chinnaiah said he had buried a number of bodies, including those women with sexual attacks in Dharmasthale for two decades, with the consequences of the local temple administrators. Later he was arrested for accusing the crooked oath.
SIT, created by the State Government, which is a probing accusation, carried out exhumations at several places identified by the complainant in wooded areas along the banks of the Netrajravathi River in Dharmasthale, where some skeletal remains were found in two places.
