
Educational concessions, including scholarships and booking for admission, would become available for students of 28 classes of other backward classes (CCs) of the state if the recommendations of the State Commission for backward classes (KSCBC) are accepted.
Students of these classes, albeit on the List of the Civil Procedure, have been denied educational benefits, because classes are not included in the list of social and educational classes (SEBC) maintained by the state government. Incorporation into the list of municipalities would cause them to be eligible to book in government jobs. However, it must be on the Sebc list to access educational concessions, sources said.
KSCBC, headed by G. Sasidharan, recommended that 28 classes be included in the social and educational classes list. Several organizations and individuals turned to the state looking for inclusion in the list.

The Commission also suggested that the government maintain a unified list of municipalities and SEBC so that educational concessions could be provided to eligible communities. The only list can be called a list of social and educational classes. Incorporating 28 classes into the Sebc list would not cause any additional expenses through the benefits that were provided to them or deny others on the list of their rights, the panel noted.
The panel concluded that 28 CITC classes were also an educational advance after considering the reports from the Class Development Department and the Keral Institute for the Research Schoop and Development Studies of the planned caste and planned tribes.
“Repair of injustice”
In addition to the appointment of government jobs, the provision of education support, such as reservation when admitting to educational institutions and scholarships, indispensable for the solution of historical injustice committed against these classes and to support social equality. The Union Government, as well as other countries, maintains a common list of social and educational classes and other back -up classes for providing booking at work and receiving educational institutions and access to scholarships. The Kerala government can also maintain a common list for social and educational reverse classes and other reverse classes. The list can be modified from time to time to the KSCBC advice, suggested.
