
Police intensified preventive and reformative initiatives to strengthen law and order in the district of Sri Satya Sai.
On Sunday (August 31, 2025), the police superintendant V. Ratna, who supervised Ganeshi Nimajjanam in Puttaparthi, spoke to the media, said the intensive “Shakti” campaign began in the whole district.
SP said that women and girls should be aware that the application was designed to give them immediate assistance in an emergency. “We have already dealt with more than 80% of the dwelling of the district and demonstrations have been carried out at educational institutions and workplaces. Our staff thoroughly explained the application functions, including its SOS button, which ensures that the police will address victims within ten minutes,” said Ratna.
The SP also urged the public to promote emergency help lines, including Dial 112 for general emergencies, 1098 for children’s care, 181 for domestic violence, 1091 for harassment and 1930 for cyber fraud.
Meanwhile, the police organized an advisory meeting for Rowdy-Shoeeters and an individual with a criminal record in the district of Kadiri, Dharmavaram, Puttaparthi and Hindupur. SP said that the perpetrators were defeated to give up illegal behavior and integrate into society again, and the police help them in this exercise. Mrs. Ratna said that if the perpetrators resort to criminal activities as usual, they must face serious consequences.
