The speakers on the 160th anniversary of the birth of Harikatha Exponent Srimad Ajjad Adibhatl Narayanadas told him for his “devotion to par excellence” and attracted to the revival of the art form of Harikath.
At the “Harikatha Vaibhavam” event organized by Hindu Dharma Pracara Parisatem TTD (GDPP) here on Sunday (August 31, 2025), the famous scholar and “Pancha Sahasravadhani” Medasani Mohan explained how Adibhatla glorified his artistic form.
Medasani Mohan, who quoted the example of Bhakta Prahlady, remembered how Adibhat also began to profess “Hari Bhakti” through an artistic form in a tender age to become an authority over this question. “The devotion itself is the real way to achieve the grace of the Almighty in this Eon Kaliyuga,” he said.
GDPP artists made the compositions of Adibhatly Narayanadas, while Y. Venkateswarla Bhagavatar gave a discourse about “the role of harikath in the spread of dharma”.
P. Varalaksshmi Bhagavatharrini spoke of life and contributes to Narayanadas. Renomin Harikatha Artistte MV Simhachal Sastry Bhagavatar performed “Bhakta Marndeya” and Parayitam Narayanacharya Bhagavatar on “Bhakta Shabari”.
