The Keraly Professional Fund has reported an increase of 172%over the past five years, said LinkedIn’s talents’ findings.
According to communication, the report was published on the Global Summit Summit Kerala Global, which began on Friday. This growth was placed by Kerala ninth among Indian states, with almost 40% of its workforce concentrated in Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur and Kozhikode. The report stated that the data was obtained exclusively from the economic chart of LinkedIn. The numbers reflected the activity of the members and the knowledge of LinkedIn and may not represent the entire labor market, he added.
The report claimed that there was a significant influx of qualified experts returning from abroad, especially from the Gulf. Approximately 52% of the global returnees of Kerala came from the United Arab Emirates and brought expertise in business operations, finance and business.
The report said that 39% of basic work skills were expected to change or become obsolete by 2030, emphasizing the urgency of changing efforts.
