The Supreme Court agreed to hear applications for September 8 submitted by political parties, including Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) liberation, which sought an extension of the period of September to submit applications and objections to voters’ proposal published during permanent intensive exercise.
The parties called on the court to order the Indian Election Commission (ECI) to extend the last date for accepting claims and objections to September 15th.
The oral mention was made before the bench headed by Judge Surya Kant Prashant Bhushan and Non -Rathi, who appeared on Friday, August 29, for the petitioners of the Association of NGOs for Democratic Reforms.
The parties submitted that there was a significantly increased flow of claims after the court in order 22. August allowed the voters to submit their requests along with their Aadhaar card.
“Since the last order of the Supreme Court on 22nd August, which allowed claims together with the Aadhaar card, the number of claims doubled from 84 305 on 22 August to 1,78,948 voters on August 27, however, in just five days.
Order 22nd August was clear that the injured should be submitted together with their demands on the inclusion, whether their Aadhar card or any of the 11 indicative documents
The exemption of the Communist Party of the India (Marxist-Leninist) or CPI (ML) stated that BLOS insists on submitting Form 6 to include in the electoral role in Bihar. Form 6 registration of the 1960 voters’ voters covers new voters or those that are transferred from one constituency to another.
RJD said that the claims together with the Aadhaar cards gathered agents at the stand (Bla) and presented to the stall levels (BLOS) are not recognized, but are not administered or reflected in the ECI report on the daily report.
“It is about the initiation of the wrong narrative that Blas does not cooperate and gives demands … ECI has completed the exercise without considering Aadhaar Card as a separate documentation and preparing a proposal without consing of the Aadhaar card,” RJD said.
The main opposition Party Bihar said she tried to face the “narration” of ECI by the 25 August tweeting the blos’ confirmation.
“The ECI was also marked on the post. However, the ECI did not repair its daily report … The report on the status published 28th.
In addition, RJD said that out of 7.2 crore voters who submitted their list forms, many of them still had to present any of the 11 quantified documents. “Direct ECI to accept the Aadhaar card cards who have submitted their enumeration and do not remove any record of the role on the basis of insufficiency of documents in case the Aadhaar voter has a card,” he urged.
Both parties stated that the flood situation in Bihar has deteriorated, which was difficult to verify the list of deleted voters.
“The villages in 12 districts on 54 blocks and 348 Panchayats were influenced by floods … Under these extraordinary circumstances, it is disproportionate to expect ordinary citizens to register voters over immediate survival and rehabilitation,” said RJD and CPI (ML) in their separate requests for Deadres.
