The former Congress Committee of Kerala Pradesh (KPCC) K. Muraleedharan on Tuesday, August 26) killed the state government for failing to solve the questions of plantations.
He opened a protest led by the National Trade Union Union Congress with a high scope of Plantation Union (HRPEU) and Keral Plantation Workers Union (KPWU) against the Poabs group in Vandiperiyar City in Idukki on Tuesday because of the waiting transition and other benefits.
“The government should provide free rations for plantation staff in this area. If the government fails to find solutions to the employees of the Poabs group, the party will be a protest before the secretariat,” said Mr. Muraleedharan.
Trade unions demanded an immediate distribution of waiting salary and other benefits of the Poabs group.
According to employees, management did not provide wages and benefits to employees Pambanar, Granby, Munjamullay (Manjumala), Nelliki, Thengakal, Intikad and Pasumallay (Pashumala) over the last few months.
Meanwhile, the locking of Haileburia’s tea estates in Peerumade continues, because the third round of interviews convened by the Kochi Labor Commissioner has not achieved solutions on Tuesday.
