The Cadillac Formula 1 team announced that Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez will create their driver set for the 2026 season when they debut in F1. The team also refused to speculate around the former head of Red Bull Christian Horner, who had a role with the team.
Bottas and Perez signed multi-year agreements with Cadillac, said General Motors-Backed Outfit on Tuesday, August 26. Perez, a six -time winner of the race, and Bottas, who won 10 victories during his time with Mercedes, was brought because Cadillac decided to experience younger prospects. Both 35 -year -olds will make sense to prove because Red Bull and Sauber were dropped before the start of the 2025 season.
“We believe that their experience, their management and their technical accumen are really what we need,” said Dan Towriss CEO to journalists in a video call, as Reuters quoted.
“It’s the right combination – the right drivers at the right time – and we are humiliated in this project by their faith in us.”

“No Horner in Cadillac”
