The District Secretariat of the District Secretary of Kozhikode from the Indian Communist Party (Marxista) (CPI (M)) claimed that the President of the District Congress (DCC) K. Poeenkumar is trying to justify and protect Palakkad Mla Rahul mamkootathil, who was accused of sexual abuse.
In the edition on Monday (August 25) CPI (m) said it was obvious of Mr. Poe’s accusation against the party. “He should not portray growing public feelings against Shafi Parambilem, Vadakar, Mr Mamkootath’s mentor, because violent protests organized by CPI (M).
People know very well that CPI (m) decided to stop events organized by Congress. “Instead of saying that Congress would manage the protesting CPI (M), Mr. Poeenkumar should try to solve the ideological disintegration of his party,” he added.
