Souvenir, who was recently held 87. All India Kannada Sahitya Sammelan called “Bellada Arathi” or “Jaggery Arathi”, was ceremonially released on Sunday in Dr. BR AMBEDKAR BHAVAN in Mandya.
President of Sammelana. Ru. Channabasappa said that the souvenir would remain an unforgettable part of Sammelana’s inheritance held in Mandya.
‘Bellada Arathi’, who demonstrates the cultural panorama of the Mandya district, exceeds 1,000 pages and contains 132 articles. The Mandya District in charge and Minister of Agriculture N. Cheluvarayaswamy, who was also present on this occasion, said that the foundation stone for Kannada Bhavan in Mandya would soon be laid.
In addition to the CRORE 2.20 GBP, which has been earmarked for the project, the lawmakers Dinesh Gooli Gowda, Ramesh Bandisidde Gowda and P. Ravikumar agreed to contribute 1 Crore from their grants. Overall, the CRORE 5 GBP will be invested in the construction of Kannada Bhavan in the district, Cheluvarayaswamy said.
