Tamil Nadu main Minister MK Stalin said on Sunday that the breakfast system of the main minister will be expanded to cover a total of 20.59 lamps throughout the state. It is ready to launch an extension of the program for state schools in urban areas at the Chennai event on Tuesday 26 August 2025).
On Sunday, the state government presented its achievements in the field of good life conditions of students and developing school infrastructure throughout the state. He said that state educational policy was a courageous initiative for the future and reaffirmed the deep commitment of Tamil over to social equality in education.
Since 2021-22, Illam Thedi Kalvi was assigned 660.35 GBP and benefited 3.4 million students using 1.65 LakH volunteers. “In the years 2025-26 there was a system with assignment of 44.14 GBP Crore, with 5.98 600 students benefiting from 34,000 Illam Thedi Kalvi centers,” the government said.
The Ennum Ezhuthum program has benefited 2.5 million students in 37,767 and supported elementary schools. The high -speed Internet was provided 28,067 government primary, secondary, universities and higher secondary schools. “The work is being established to set up internet services in the remaining 6,540 government schools.”
Work on the establishment of 8 209 high-tech laboratories in government secondary, universities and higher secondary schools at estimated costs of 519.73 Crore were approaching completion, the government said. About 22,900 intelligent classrooms were established at 455.32 GBP Crore, which benefits 16,77,043 students in government schools and support their talent.
