
The leader of the congress Rahul Mamkootathil, Mla, on Sunday did not give a definitive answer to Bipartisan political challenges to his resignation after charging of a sexual offense.
Mr Mamkootathil, who emerged from almost hermitic existence, said on his residence in Adoor in Pathanamthitta at a hurriedly arranged press conference on Sunday that he does not want to push Congress into political purgatory on Sunday. Congress workers “should not hang their heads for him.”
Mr Mamkootathil faced a volley of combat questions from journalists who had been a few days before their house for several days, he said that surprising accusations brought him briefly. “I am also a human being. The score of party workers called me, some critical, others support and several deep sad,” he said.
Momkootathil, who broadcast skepticism about the accusations of inappropriate behavior that was swirling around him, justified that his character as a defender of Congress made him a magnet for political enemies.
They face fees
The MLA tried to make a case to defense by broadcasting audio clips and WhatsApp Chats to support his claim that the journalist had asked the leader questions about his “transgender friend” to be in politically harmful conspiracy.
Mr Mamkootathil ignored questions about his visit to his constituency in Palakkad, where the threat of boycott of India (Marxist) (CPI (M)) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) faced the threat of the boycott of India.
Later Mr. Mamkootathil tried to evoke the similarity between attacks against him and attempts to undermine the leader of the opposition in Lok Sabha in Rahul Gandhi.
He published a picture of Mr. Gandhi on the social media with a headline depicting a leader as a surviving contemptual attacks. “They mocked him, accused him, attacked him in an organized way. They tried to overthrow him. Those who once praised have turned into critics. Yet, even after he was stabbed, he was fighting without complaints.
Meanwhile, the National Handles (BJP) Bharatiya Janata (BJP) affected by somewhat cynically playing similarities in Mamkootath and the first names of Mr. Gandhi.
