TDP announces three candidates for Rajya Sabha elections

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has announced Chintakayala Vijay, Bhashyam Ramakrishna and Sana Satish as candidates for the Rajya Sabha elections.
Party National President and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu handed over B-forms to them at his camp office on Saturday (June 6, 2026) evening.

Mr. Vijay is the son of Legislative Assembly Speaker Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu and State General Secretary of the TDP.
For Mr. Satish, it is his renomination to the Rajya Sabha. He was elected to the upper house of parliament in 2024 and his term will expire on 21 June.

Mr. Ramakrishna is the Founder Chairman of Bhashyam Educational Institutions.
The TDP said the selection was made with a focus on social engineering and commitment and loyalty to the party and to encourage young leadership.
Candidates were selected after considering their long association with the party and their contribution to its growth and public service activities.
Leaders who would not fit in the current round of political appointments will be considered for other positions in the future, the party added.
