
Bunty Aur Babli fraud attracted the attention of the police in Delhi, who has just arrested a fraud inspired by Bollywood for allegedly holding aspiring actors by acting as television serial producers and directors.
According to DCP (Southwest) Amit Goel, the accused were identified as Tarun Shekhar Sharma, 32 -year -old inhabitants of Lucknow, and Asha Singh aka Bhawna, 29 -year -old Delhi.
They were associated with more than 20 similar complaints across the country.

Tarun and Bhawn reportedly attracted their goals through social media platforms based on an excuse, where they gave them roles in popular television series and OTT show.
In the latter case, DCP said that a woman who sought an actor £24 Lakh. The complainant encountered the Social Media Page of Separate producers looking for newcomers for the TV show and contacted them.
The couple asked her for money for various pretexts, such as processing and fees for membership. After she has moved £24 Lakh, the woman found herself “blocked”.

According to DCP, the police watched the money trail and watched the accused in a rented apartment in Bengalur and arrested them.
During the interrogation, the police found that the accused had operated from different cities and often changed their location to avoid detection.
They stayed in luxury hotels and lived richly, the police said.
The couple had 7 mobile phones, 10 SIM cards, 15 bank checks and deposits, 8 ATM cards and a few gold earrings in their possession, all of which were confiscated.
“They opened around 15 bank accounts and used several SIM cards from different countries. The cheaters even trained through online videos,” the officer said.
The defendants are also requested in the case in Jammu and Kashmir and involved in several similar fraud in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi, DCP said.
