The Gujarat State Committee for the Protection of the Child Rights required a report from a private school based in Ahmedabad after the student of Class 10 allegedly stabbed to death by a classmate.
The incident occurred on Tuesday (August 19, 2025) near the main gate of the Adventist School of the Seventh Day in the Khokhr. The victim succumbed to his injuries later at night during treatment.
The incident caused outrage in the locality. Videos from the scene showed broken furniture and released offices. The police were deployed to check the situation.
Dharmiskhtha Gajjar, chairman of the State Commission for Children’s Rights, said: “It is natural that people are angry with such an incident. We learned that the company was registered. We asked the school to present an incident report.
