
The man allegedly entered the parliament building around 6:30 in the morning by jumping over the walls using a tree from the Bhawan Railway, the sources of the press agency said.
He managed to get to Garuda’s gate before he was caught by security staff. The accused was detained and is currently being questioned, sources said.
Clerk Rajya Sabha said Mint that one man tried to enter the building in an unauthorized way and was caught.
“Matter is investigated, no more details at the moment,” the clerk said.
The man challenges several central agencies, including the Intelligence Office (IB) and the special cells of the Police in Delhi.
“Since then, he has been handed over to the Police Delhi for further interrogations. IB and special cellular officers have questioned him to determine his motive,” PTI said.
