“Over the last two months, more than 16 lamps have been added. So on average, an average of 26,000 voters were added. In the 2018 assembly, BJP won about 1% more votes than Congress. In 2023, this gap spread to 8-9%,” Singhar said.
“Specifically, 27 seats of the Assembly were identified, where the victory span was very narrow, but the number of newly added voters was much greater than this margin,” he said, claiming that in the voters’ list “extensive irregularities and duplicate items”.
Congress’s leader accused the election commission of “playing a role” in the creation of the government of Bharatiya Janata (BJP) in the state.
“With the agreement of the Election Commission, governments were created on Wednesday and states. Theft by vote, Bharatiya Janata, the party created a government in Madhya Pradesh with a false mandate. The election commission manipulates voters,” he said.
