
An earthquake of size 3.3 called the Chamba district in Himachal Pradesh, reported the National Center for Seismology (NCS) in the early Wednesday hours.
The earthquake occurred at 03:27:09 ist, with a depth of 20 kilometers.
“EQ from M: 3.3, on: 20/08/2025 03:27:09 ist, lat: 32,87 N, long: 76,09 E, depth: 20 km, location: Chamba, Himachal Pradesh,” NCS published on X.
Meanwhile, an earthquake of 3.7 Pakistan on Wednesday, the statement of the National Center for Seismology (NCS), reported.
According to the statement there was an earthquake at a depth of 170 km.
In the post on X, NCS said: “EQ M: 3.7, on: 20/08/2025 02:38:23 ist, lat: 29,86 N, long: 71,09 E, depth: 170 km, location: Pakistan.”
Earlier on Tuesday, an earthquake of 5.2 is frayed by Islamabad, Rawalpindi and several parts of Khyber Pákhtunkhwa, said the seismic network of the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) in a statement quoted by dawn.
According to the statement, the earthquake was felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, KP’s Peshawar, SWAT, Chitral and Abbottabad.
