The State Commission of Kerala for the protection of children’s rights offered training to secondary school teachers in various aspects of children’s rights. Cicilla member Joseph inaugurated the training program here on Monday 18 August). Experts led courses on children’s rights, their mental health, artificial intelligence and cyber security.
The training was designed to help teachers detect and solve physical and mental problems affecting adolescent students. Its aim was to promote a positive and supportive relationship of teacher-by-state, integrate practices based on evidence rooted in educational and psychological theories into the school environment and allow students to effectively manage physical, mental and emotional problems.
The training also tried to educate participants about the importance of social media, secure internet practices and measures for cyber security.
The first phase of the training is provided by teachers in Kozhikode, Karagod, Kannur, Malappuram, Wayanad, Palakkad and Thrissur. The training program started in Kozhikode 11 August and will end with a meeting in Thrissur 20 August.
Trained teachers will be responsible for spreading awareness among other teachers and students in class 8, 9 and 10 in their schools.
The office was chaired by representatives of the PV Rafeek education director. They participated in the district official and development development of Gaptumar, a member of the Children’s Rights Commission B. Mohan Kumar and a district official for the protection of children in the Wayanad Shajida district.
