Mohammed Nasir, YSR Congress Party Official Officise, urged the state government on Monday to solve petitions from members of the Muslim community, because many eligible persons were reportedly denied social security pensions, assigning cards and Talliki Vandanam and other schemes.
When he talked to the media, he said that people belonging to minority communities after the creation of the NDA government in the state considered second -class citizens in Andhra Pradesh.
Mr. Nasir, former director of AP Mensities Corporation, met the former Chief Minister Ys Jagan Mohan Reddy in Vijayawada, thanked Mr. Jagan Muhan Reddy for his name for the official spokesman of the minority wing.
“The ruling party of Telugu Desam, in an alliance with BJP, distinguishes between government programs recipients. Hundreds of Muslim women visit government authorities to gain the benefits of Talliki Vandanam and social security pensions, but in vain,” Pannasir said.
He asked the government to conduct a socio -economic survey of 40 lake Muslims and other marginalized groups in the state to know their situation and take corrective measures to ensure that they also receive benefits at the same level with other parts of society.
