On Monday, the Sumit Kumar district collector warned agriculture, horticulture and officials of the series that would take strict measures if they could not maintain transparency in the distribution of subsidies to Totapuri farmers.
In an interview with the media, the collector said that, according to the state government, farmers Totapuri, who supply mango, which adds mango to industries and public procurement, should be carried out in a transparent method of subsidy 4 per kg. The collector said that approximately 3.75 lacquer metric tons of mango has already been obtained from 81,455 farmers in the district. Subsidies worth 130 GBP Crore are attributed directly to farmers’ accounts, he added.
Mr. Sumit Kumar ordered the Mandal officers to complete the survey and verification of the data by August 20 (Wednesday) and ensure that the e-ROP records correspond to the actual delivered amount. “The field verification is mandatory for farmers who deliver, mandatory to produce without proper registration,” he said.
Out of the total number of stocks, 49,535 farmers were delivered up to 2.30 Lakh tons, while 1.44 Lakh tons were obtained through ramps and market yards from 31,920 farmers. “Officials are clearly instructed to present Mandal-Wise and Rythu Seva Kendram-Wise Ters Copies of Verified Data by August 20, followed by signed records by August 23.
Previously, the collector organized an inspection meeting with higher officials from line departments.
