If he takes the field, Sooryavanshi will break the record held by Sachin Tendulkar and become the youngest player ever to represent the Indian men’s team.The Rajasthan Royals prodigy has enjoyed a meteoric rise over the past year. After starring in India’s victorious 2026 U19 World Cup campaign, where he was named both the player of the tournament and the player of the final, Sooryavanshi carried his incredible form into IPL 2026. The left-handed batsman lit up the IPL with a stunning 776 runs at a strike rate of 237.30. Currently leading the list of youngest international cricketers in India is Sachin Tendulkar who made his debut at 16 years and 205 days. He is followed by Piyush Chawla (17 years, 75 days), Laxman Sivaramakrishnan (17 years, 118 days) and Parthiv Patel (17 years, 152 days).
