CPI (m) Secretary General Ma Baby performs
The Indian Communist Party (Marxist) (CPI (M)) Secretary General Ma Baby on Sunday (August 17) expressed his dismay over the silence by the Chief Minister N. Chandrababa Naida and the NDA Parliament members in Andhra Pradesh.
Mr. Baby and CPI (m) MP John Brittas closed their two -day visit to the field visit to the Polavaram submarine, where they evaluated the implementation of the R&R components. The duo was inspected by the R&R colony and the villages affected by projects along the banks of Rivers Godavari and Sabari in Y. Ramavaram, Rekhapalli, Yetapaka Mandals at Chintoor in Alluri Sitarama Raju.
When Mr. Baby addressed the affected families in Ramavaram in VR Purama Mandal, he said that the party was not against the vision of the main Minister N. Chandrababa Naida to develop the capital Amaravati, but disagreed with his silence on Polavara and R&R components.
“Members of the Parliament of the previous three periods (2014, 2019 and 2024) represented by TDP and YSRCP have never raised their voice for Polavraram R&D in parliament. They did not engage in Polavarama-rarely,” Mr. Baby said.
He promised to return with an action plan that will fight for relocation and rehabilitation of Polavarama-Vyslunuté, as guaranteed under the right to fair compensation and transparency in land acquire, rehabilitation and relocation of the 2013 Act.
“On Earth, the connection between bureaucracy and public representatives reflects in the implementation of the R&R components. A question about discrepancies in the R&R folder should be ordered, starting with the 2014-19 period,” said Mr. Baby.
At his address Mr. Brittas promised to raise the voice for Polavram emerging at national level. The CPI Central Committee (M) K. Lokadham, District Secretary of ASR Boppen Kira and other leaders were present.
