The Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep grief over the death of the eighth Mahadasoha PeetadHipathi Sharnbasaveshwar Samsthan Sharnbaswapp Appe, which describes him as a great loss not only for his family and countless followers but also the whole nation.
In a condolence letter addressed by Sharnbasaveshwar Vidy Vardak Sangha Dakshayini S. Appa, Prime Minister said APPA devoted his life to expanding social and spiritual service activities of Samsthan.
“His leadership touched the lives of countless people throughout the region and inspired them to walk through the path of devotion, love and humility with a sense of higher purpose,” Modi said.
Mr Modi called him a worshiped spiritual guide and said APPA emphasized the practical aspects of spiritual wisdom and showed that real spirituality lies in the living ideal Seva Paramo Dharma.
“He worked tirelessly to serve the poor and disadvantaged parts of society and create a social, educational and economic impact on their lives,” the Prime Minister said.
Mr. Modi also remembered the contribution of Appa as the author of the legend, who wrote extensively about traditions and philosophy by noticing that his works, such as Dasoha Sutras, will always remain the main light for future generations.
Prime Minister, who emphasized the permanent contribution of APPA in the field of education, health, strengthening the position of women and promoting literature of Kannada, culture and art, he said they would always remember.
The Prime Minister, who offered his sincere condolences to the family and followers of App, said that the life and values of Appa would continue to inspire humanity forever.
