
Twenty -year -old Kushagra Jain student was found dead in his hostel room at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (Bit) in Goa.
The incident was announced on Saturday morning, when the student was found not responding in their bed, the police said on Sunday a statement.

According to the police, Kushagra Jain, a third year of the economy and computer science, was discovered not to respond to his bed in the side location on Saturday around 11:00, said a higher police officer.

“We sent the body to postmort, and then the exact cause of death would be known,” he said, adding that the case of unnatural death was registered at the Verna police station.
The police also recorded a statement by other students who told them that the deceased student played the previous night on the table tennis before returning to his room, PTI reported.

“Kushagra Jain (native of UP), the 3rd year of the student of economics and computer science, was found in an unreachable condition on his bed when his room was opened around 11:00, and the medical team confirmed that he died in sleep,” the statement said.
