Cloudburst hit a distant village in the district of Kathhua in Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in four deaths and injuries to others, the officials said on Sunday.
The incident occurred in the village of Jod Ghati in Rajbaggh during the interference on Saturdays and Sundays, interrupted access to the area and caused damage to land and property.

After an intense effort, the joint team of the police and the strength of the reaction to disasters (SDRF) arrived and started rescue operations along with local volunteers, PTI informed about citing officials.

“The main minister expressed sorrows over tragic losses on the lives and damage caused by landslides in several parts of the Kathua, including Jodh Khada and Juthany, who claimed four lives and many injured.”
“He told her condolences to the survivors of the survivors, praying for a rapid recovery of the injured and ensuring all the necessary assistance,” the main minister’s office said at the X.
