“In the coming years, the cyber security sector will witness a substantial increase in job opportunities,” said Ranjeet Misra, head of the Carnataka Center for Cyber Security (CySECK), in the Valediktor function of a two -day boot camp in cybersecurity in his Kalaburagag region.
In his main speech, Mr. Misra said that Boot Tábor offered participants both basic knowledge and practical exposure to cyber security. “While students in metropolitan cities are already familiar with these initiatives, our mission is to address rural areas, discover unused talent and inspire them to devote themselves to career in this essential area,” he said.
He urged a alarming increase in cyber fraud and urged students to become public awareness agents. “They cannot only focus on certificates; instead seek to solve problems in the real world. The future belongs to those who receive constant learning and adapt to emerging challenges in a digital domain,” he said.
Shaubhangi D. Chikate, Director of the VTU Regional Center, chaired the importance of research for engineering students, and chaired the program. “Those trying to shine on global platforms must commit to permanent learning and keep up with international research trends. Engineering studies should be supplemented by active participation in research,” she said.
