Traffic police in Hyderabad announced 16th August traffic restrictions and diversion in connection with the “Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsava” organized by the Isiskon temple in Abids. The measures will apply from 4:00 to 23:00 to manage the expected heavy traffic in this area.
Motorists were advised to avoid Jawaharlal Nezru Road, Abids Circle, Old Hyderabad Collector Office, Chirag Ali and Nampally Station Road during the specified hours.
DE will be introduced on key points. Operation from the junction of Gunfoundry and Tilak Road to Nampally Station Road will be diverted to GPO Junction to MJ Market. Vehicle from JAMBAGH Road and SA bazaar Mosque heading towards GPO Junction will be diverted to MJ Market towards Gandhi Bhavan and Chappel Road. Operation from NamPally towards Koti Bank Street will be allowed via HP, ACB Lane, Yousuf & Company and Troop Bazaar. Vehicles from the BJP state office will be diverted from the tr. PS Abids Junction on MJ Market Road.
The devoted people who attended the celebrations in the IskCon temple were asked to park their vehicles on the NamPally show area.
The Hyderabad traffic police urged people to follow consulting, use alternative routes to avoid overload and cooperate with officers on duty. For travel aid in emergencies, commuters can call the traffic line for 9010203626.
