New Delhi: On his fourth day of Independence, EVE address for the nation, President of the Murm, emphasized Indian economic resistance, defense of self -confidence and unity in the face of global challenges, and in the last fiscal committee called the country the fastest growing main economy with GDP growth 6.5%.
“With GDP growth, 6.5% in the last fiscal is India’s fastest growing among the main economies in the world. Even in the middle of stress in the global economy, the demand at home goes forward. Inflation remains under control. Exports are growing.
The President said progress in India in independence in the defense sector helped the Sindoor operation, the Indian reactions to the abominable terrorist attack in Pahalgam in April. Operation Sindoor, as well as diplomatic visits performed by parliamentary groups of all parties as a result of conflict, reflected the unity in the country, she said.
“Sindoor surgery has shown that our armed forces are ready to fulfill any event in terms of the protection of the nation. With strategic clarity and technical ability, they destroyed terrorist nodes across the border,” she said.
The Sindoor operation was also a test case of the Atmanirbhar Bharat mission in the defensive sector. “The result has shown that we are on the right track. Our indigenous production has reached a critical level that makes it self -sufficient to meet many of our safety requirements,” she added.
She also noticed progress in developing key infrastructure, such as roads and railways, especially in the operating railways in the Kashmir Valley. India has expanded and strengthened the national motorway network within the BharatMala program, which focuses on building almost 50,000 km of new national motorways in the country.
“The railways also innovated and represented new types of trains and coaches equipped with the latest technologies. Inauguration of the railway connection in the Kashmir valley is the main success,” she said.
Murmu also said that Indian growth in digital payment infrastructure and the IT sector powered growth. Another phase of growth is artificial intelligence, she said.
“Almost all villages have a mobile connection of 4G and the remaining several thousand will soon be covered. This allowed extensive acceptance of digital payments technology, in which India became a world leader in a short range,” she said.
Murmu said that India’s increased expenditure on the social sector systems reflected the commitment of the government to encourage marginalized communities and the poor. She also called on the country’s citizens to buy local products to promote “Swadeshi” and help India to become independent. The President noted the strong position of India in sports and space sector.
The annual President’s address of Independence Day came among some of the world’s largest economies at the time of geo -economic fragmentation and global trade wars. Previously, US President Donald Trump described India as a “dead economy” in its imposition of sanctions against the most populous country in the world as imports of Russian oil.
The Chinese command to control exports on rare soil magnets has affected key sectors such as electronics, cars and the production of renewable energy sources. India is arguing with other nations, including the US to face such disruption of the supply chain.
The statement also comes before the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in China at a meeting of cooperation in Shanghai, which begins 31 August.
