In order to expand the industrial area network to increase investment and create job opportunities, the Bihar Cabinet – chairman of Nitish Kumar – nodded on Wednesday to obtain 2,627 acres of land for the price of 812 Crore.
The land of 991 acres will be obtained for the price of 351 Crore in the district of Begusarai, while 500 hectares will be obtained at the price of 219 Crore in the Patna, S. Siddharth, additional main secretariat of the cabinet, he said in briefing.
The Office for the Development of Infrastructure, Patna will obtain land for the development of all five industrial areas in the state, he said.
Siddharth said that 167.34 acres in Siwan for the price of 113 Crore, 420.62 acres in the Saharsa district at the price of 88.01 Crore and 548.87 acres in the Madhepura district for the price of 41.26 Crore.
The Cabinet also approved the acquisition of 1,300 acres for the development of the integrated manufacturing cluster in the AMRITSAR-KOKOKATA industrial project in Dobhi in the Gaya district, Siddharth said, explaining that the above industrial areas would be new, while IMC in Dobhi is a continued project.
In another important decision, the cabinet approved approval to set up a CRORE factory for 35.14 GBP for the production of textile items such as fleece, blankets, bed coverage and gay cloaks.
“The factory would be set up by M/S textile mills in an industrial area in gaya gaya to make textiles. Investment would generate direct and indirect employment for 237 qualified and unskilled people in the state,” said Mr. Siddhar.
In order to develop and expand the airport network, the cabinet has approved a design to carry out obstacle restrictions (OLS) for the development of six airports in the Green Field in Birpur (SUPAUL), MUNGER, VALMIKINAGAR (West Champaran), Muzaffarpur, Saharsa and Bhagalp (AAI) for this purpose. OLS survey is an essential process that ensures the safety of aircraft operations by identifying and mapping potential risks in a defined air space around the airport.
This survey helps to maintain clear ways for take -off, landing and ground movement of aircraft by defining surfaces that must be without obstacles.
The Cabinet also approved the Crore 137.17 GBP for the acquisition of 18 hectares to expand the Gaya Airport to install “Cat and Light” to facilitate aircraft landing even under poor weather conditions such as fog, smog and low visibility. With the installation of the device, the airport will be considered “whole weather”.
