
The Memorandum of Understanding (MO) between the Indian Indian Confederation (CII) Greenpro and the Singapore Environmental Council (SEC) were signed to support Ecolabel certification and strengthen the sustainable public procurement procedures in Asia Pacific.
The memorandum signing took place during the opening meeting of the two -day CII GreenPro 2025 (eighth edition) under the topic “progressing towards pure zero through products, low carbon materials and technologies”.
“Climate science tells us that the decisions we have been taking in this decade will form the future of the planet for decades.
“Greenpro has been reflected in the growing commitment of India to sustainable consumption and production over the years. With more than 11,500 certified products from 450 or more companies across 39 categories, EcolaBel has already helped reduce 7.5 million tons of emissions and save 175 billion liters of water and maintain 6,500 GWh.
Isabella Huang-Loh, chairman, Singapore’s environment for the environment, emphasized the importance of international cooperation and harmonized standards of ecological signs for building trust and expanding green markets around the world.
While John Deere India was awarded the Leadership Award Award for “Excellency in Green Supply Chain”, Rane (Madras) Ltd. She won the “Green Champion in Supply Chain”.
