Futher remarked: “The section led to violence, exploitation and atrocities and millions tolerated displacement. I offer my sincere honor to all those people. The country will never forget this history and pain.

Previously, the Minister of Health of the Union and President BJP Jagat Prakash Nadda called for national unity and “responded against national forces”.
The head of BJP, who paid tribute to millions who had sacrificed their lives in the “permanent agony”, said the BJP leader in post X: “The Dark Day of 1947 reminds us of this cruel event when citizens suffered merciless migration pain and suffered inhuman torture, lost their homes, property and lives.”
Meanwhile, Uttarakhand’s chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, “The day of the Heritage House: It is not just a part of history, but improved in our national consciousness.”
“The Day of Horror of Division”

Exhibitions at railway stations
Meanwhile, the railway stations across the country will present an exhibition on Thursday in memory of the suffering, trauma and shifts experienced by millions of people during the division of India in 1947.
The Ministry of Culture has prepared an exhibition for compliance with the division of the horrors of memories (PHRD), commemorated every year on 14 August.

“The Indian government has decided to observe the phrd, 2025, with a number of commemorative activities to be carried out throughout the country on August 14, 2025.
