Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead 159. Celebrations of Independence Day 15. August from the historic red fortress in Nový Delhi.

About 2,500 cadets of boys and girls from the Indian Army, the Navy and Air Force and volunteers “My Bharat” will participate at the celebrations. They will sit on Gyanpath, opposite the Red Fort Ramparts and create the “Naya Bharat” logo.
To support the patriotic enthusiasm among citizens and to celebrate the victory of the Sindoor, the bands of defense and the paramilitary forces will perform for the first time in the evening of the Day of Independence Day to more than 140 prominent places across the country.
