On Tuesday evening, a dead 58 -year -old man was found dead on the land near his house in Manarcaud, and his abdomen disintegrated during the explosion. The deceased was identified as rejimon.
According to the police, Rejimon returned home around 22:00 after participating in the family office in Neendoor. Soon afterwards he had a heated argument with his wife Vijayamma and came out of the house. Around 23 pm relatives heard a loud explosion from the yard. They rushed to the place and found him dead.
The preliminary investigation indicated that Rejimon attracted the explosive, allegedly used for digging the wells, into his stomach and detonated him. The body was moved to the hospital morgue after the investigation. Manarcaud has registered the case and examines the incident.
