
India and Singapore focus on completing almost 10 memorandums about understanding in areas such as advanced technology, connectivity, skill and digitization during the meeting of their best ministers on Wednesday (August 13, 2025), people who introduced this matter.

Both parties are also expected to deal with contracts that will focus on cooperation in the development of skills in areas such as aviation, semiconductors and advanced production.
ISMR may also be considered the impact of Washington’s customs policy and ways to navigate it.
Both parties work on a plan to hand over the training to develop a skill of about 1,00,000 Indians per year, people said.

The ISMR inauguration took place on September 17, 2022 in Nový Delhí. Four higher Singapore ministers traveled to India. The second ISMR took place in Singapore 26 August last year.

Singapore was the sixth largest business partner in India in the financial year 2024-25. Indian imports from Singapore in 2024-25 were $ 21.2 billion, while the volume of exports to the country was $ 14.4 billion.
Over the past 10 years, the annual investment in Singapore, India, has been between $ 10 billion and $ 15 billion.
