Coverage-actor Kapil Sharma in Mumbai has been increased, higher police sources said after two shooting in his cafe in Canada and threats to Lawrence Bishnoi over his association with actor Salman Khan, PTI press agency reported.
On Friday there was a café in Canada Surrey, which is owned by Sharma, this month for the second time. In the video about the circulating online incident, at least 25 shots are heard, along with the voice saying, “… we called the target but did not hear the ring, so we had to act. If they still do not hear the ring, Mumbai will soon be undertaken.”
Two gangs- led by Gurpreet Singh alias Goldy Dhillon and Lawrence Bishnoi- have requested responsibility for attacking on social media posts.
The first incident occurred on July 10, when the shots were fired at the café while some employees were still inside. No injuries were reported, but at least 10 holes were found in one window and the other panel was broken.
The day after the shooting of August 8, an alleged member of Bishnoi gang, identified as a Harry boxer, a sound warning focused on anyone who works with Salman Khan. “No small producers, directors or actors working with Salman Khan will not be spared,” he said, adding that the gang will go to “any length” to make a threat.
This comes weeks after Khan appeared as the first guest in the third season Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix, which premiered 21 June.
Bishnoi’s gang has repeatedly issued a warning to Khan, who has been on his radar since 1998 Blackbuck poaching during the shooting Hum Saath Saath Hain in Jodhpur. Bishnoi community considers Blackbucks Sacred. After shooting outside Khan’s Bombai Residence 14th April last year was placed under increased safety.
