Telangana Minister A. Revant Reddy criticized the detention of the leaders of the Rahul Gandhi Congress, Priyanka Gandhi and several opposition deputies Delhi during the protest against alleged election illegality.
The leaders were on their way to the Election Commission office as part of a democratic assembly asking to prevent alleged vote. He condemned the incident, and Mr. Reddy described it as a “nasty and undemocratic act” that prevented leaders.
He claimed that the prevention of peace and democratic protests undercut the foundation of the democratic values of the country and called on the central government to respect the constitutional rights of political leaders and citizens.
