Night traffic restrictions will be enforced from 11 to 17 August between 23:00 and 5:00, with regard to the ongoing construction of an overpass in Enchakkal. The Municipal Police announced the traffic regulations that remain in force during this period.
Vehicles from Kovallam, which will head in the opposite direction, will have to proceed through the Service Road Chakka – Petah – Patah – Pattom – Assan Square – Palayam – Statue – Attakulangara – Manacaud – Thirvvallam.
Vehicles from Killippalam – Power House Road to Kazhakkuttttom via Enchakkal should go through Choorakattupalayam, Thampanoor, Panavila, Assan Square, Pattoor and Chakka Uppidamood, Pettah and Chakkai.
Lightweight motor vehicles heading to Thiruvananthapuram International Airport The Kovallam side should take the Kumarichantha – Paruthikuzhy road, then turn towards Kallmood and proceed through Valiyathura – Shangangumugumugumham Road.
Motorists headed to Chakkal from Attakulangary, they will have to continue through the ligaments, Sreekanteswarem, Uppidamood, Nalumukka, Pettah and Chakka.
