
The leaders of the Communist Party of the India (CPI) paid rich honors on Sunday a veteran leader and former member of Rajya Sabha Dasari Nagabhushan Rao and described him as a tireless champion of the poor and the main forces behind the orientation struggles that led to the redistribution of thousands of acres to the Bezzem.
The CPI organized an appointment and marked the opening of the centenary in honor of the late leader. The head of the CPI of various mass organizations donated Dasari’s portrait before they remembered his ten -year commitment to the cause of the disadvantaged.
When he was involved in the Assembly, the state assistant CPI JV Satyanarayan Murtha said that in the unification of Andhra Pradesh, Dasari’s name became synonymous with the fighting against injustice. “Wherever they were the poor, he was there to fight for them,” he said, remembling Dasari’s tireless battles against landlords and feudal forces and his role in the soil distribution under their control, especially in districts such as Sricakulam and Vizianagaram. Murty announced that the CPI State Committee decided to make the centenary of celebrations across the Teluga states for a year.
A former member of the MLC and CPI Secretariat Jalli Wilson noted that Dasari had launched his political journey as the leader of AISF in the former Krishny district before holding several positions in the party and eventually served as a National Secretary of the CPI. As an example that inspired movements all over the country, Dasari’s leadership quoted in the organization of land struggles in Nuzvid against oppression Zamindari.
The national executive member of the CPI Akkineni Vanaja appreciated the struggles of Nuzvid land led by Dasari as “national example” and reaffirmed the party’s obligation to mark its 100th anniversary through national events.
Former chairman of the MLA and Visakha Manam Anjaneyulu said that Dasari has always preferred to strengthen the party’s organizational principles. Professor C. Narasimha Rao in retired told Dasari’s incidents that reflected his commitment to people’s movement.
NTR District CPI Secretary Donepudi has announced that CPI will have a commemorative lecture in Vijayawada in honor of Dasari during the upcoming State Committee.
