The Gopalapuram Police have so far carried out 25 arrests in the extended probe for an alleged illegal spare missile and the seller with a child associated with known in vitro fertilization (IVF) in Hyderabad and Andhra Pradesh.
The police have so far registered nine cases because more victims are still coming. The latest complaint was filed two days ago, the officer supervised the investigation. The couple was cheated with the same modus operandi at the clinic.
The rocket, which was said to be said, was conducted under the cover of fertility treatment, came to light after the raids on GoPalapuram and Visakhapatnam branch of the universal fertility centers SRUSHTI in July. Prime Acceased, 64 -year -old Athaluri Namratha alias Pachipal Namratha, operated clinics without valid licenses, performed embryos and implant procedures in violation of medical regulations, according to DCP (North) S. Investigators say that Namratha and his son Pachipal Jayanth Krishna (25 years) and several collaborators attracted childless couples to pay between 20 lakh and 30 lakh for fraudulent measures. Children were taken from women convinced to bear unwanted pregnancy to go for money, and then handed over to counterfeit documents that claimed clients as biological parents.
The case that exposed the missile included a couple Hyderabad, who was given a newborn and a falsified birth certificate just to find out by testing the DNA that the child was not related to them. Biological parents, Migrants from Assam, were also arrested.
The police believe that the number of victims will increase, with more complaints expected in the coming weeks.
