More than 3 lakh students register for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions as the deadline approaches

More than three lakh candidates have registered for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2026 till 6 pm on Friday, even as the deadline looms.

The number is very similar to that recorded last year. As of 6 pm on Friday, a total of 2,43,476 candidates have been paid and 2,23,599 candidates have successfully uploaded their certificates to the portal.

The last date for paying registration fees and uploading documents is June 6. By the end of TNEA 2025 registrations, a total of 3,02,374 candidates had registered, 2,49,883 had paid registration fees and 2,26,359 had uploaded certificates.
