
Air India reported passengers on X (formerly Twitter) that Mumbai Airport was affected by a data network failure and disrupted check -in systems at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, today, August 9.
Although the defect affected the system for a few minutes, it took an hour to repair it, the sources reported the PTI.
This problem was caused by delay in the years of Air India and several other airlines.
Air India’s statement
Air India released travel consultancy in the area of “third -party data network failure influenced by check -in systems at Mumbai Airport, delaying the flight departures of airlines, including Air India”.
“The systems have been restored since then, but some of our flights may continue to be influenced for a certain period of time, as the situation gradually normalizes,” the airline added.

According to Air India, technical teams located at Mumbai Airport have been working to restore systems and the outage has now been resolved.
However, as a signal of caution, the airline also stated that the residual delay is expected when the operation gradually returns to normal. Air India assured the affected passengers that employees at the airport help, among other things, in re-invasion, check-in.
