Since he started training dogs for therapy, Mr. Vas said that several of them died, and replaced them with others and at the same time began the therapy of birds about 20 years ago.
Although he charges money to provide his therapeutic dogs and birds to heal sick people, Mr. Vas said he was giving them free people. “I charge money because dogs and their maintenance are expensive,” he said.
Mr. Vas, who previously acted as a priest in the Church of St. Philomena, is also the founder of the Indian biblical literature apostolate in Mysur.
