
Proven procedures for searching and seizing, advanced intelligence with open source code (OSINT) and forensic tools and techniques of social media tracking were one of the key areas of focusing the weekly educational program for 151 investigating officers who manipulate sexual exploitation and abuse of CSEAM (CSEAM) Cyber Tipline.
The training also included legal provisions under the protection of children from sexual offenses (POCSO) Act, Act on Information Technology (IT), Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhit (BNSS) and the relevant predecessors. From August 1 to August 7th, the Cyber Academy headquarters took place in the Cyber Academy, Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB).
Demonstration of tools including Cyniq, C-Trace, Kalo and Internet Crimes Against Children on-line Protection (ICACCOPS) equipped with practical methods for monitoring and analyzing digital evidence, while protocols for equipment seizures, content preservation and manipulation of sensitive materials. Participants were also trained to monitor suspects across platforms, including Instagram, Facebook and dating applications. Daily evaluation and structured feedback ensured that officers strengthen clarity and technical skills.
The program was carried out by TGCSB in cooperation with the Indian Child Unit (ICP) in Nový Dilli, in the middle of the growing volume of Cyber Tipline messages from the National Center for Missing and Expired Children (NCMEC), USA. Telelangana police registered 510 companies based on 561 Tiplines, which focused on the need for specialized training.
Officers from 26 police units throughout the state participated in an initiative, which also included a review of 204 Cyber Tipline files for practical learning.
