
APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) Vice -President K. Sivaprasad was looking for an intervention by Rajendry Vishwanath Alelekar to resolve the administrative debt that disrupted financial transactions and everyday operation at the university.
Reportedly attributed the crisis of non -co -operation of nominated state government, who abstained from the recent session of the Financial Committee, which prevented the university to complete its annual budget.
‘Certificates are not printed’
The vice -chairman wrote to Mr. Alekar, who also serves as the Chancellor of the University and explains the challenges faced by KTU. Although this month was not able to pay employees’ salaries, the university also did not pay pensions in the last two months. In addition, the printing of certificates was also stopped.
The session of the Finance Committee had to be adjourned due to lack of quorum. The inability of the budget approval to the current fiscal postponed their presentation before the syndicate and the Governor Council. The vice -chairman convened a special meeting of Syndicate 13. August in an effort to achieve a consensus.
